Explaining

Explaining things in senses (visually for example) is much easier than using language. Language, essentially, is NOT a sense. So, translation is always lost.

In the world of design, we find that anytime we can visually explain a concept, it has a much faster and easier impact than overly worded concepts. It was once said, that we should aim to make copywriters obsolete–well not really, but make sure copy is very secondary or tertiary to the information flow.

Can we push explanation to include the other senses as well? That would be incredible as well as magical. We can do it visually. Let’s try to include the other senses.
